    10 days tour in Morocco from Tangier

    Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – ChefChauen

    On the first day of our 10 days tour in Morocco from Tangier, we will pick you up at the agreed place and time to make the departure to Chaouen or CHEFCHAOUEN, visiting Tetouan, the Spanish city. We will arrive in Chaouen. There we will visit the city, walking through its streets among its old houses of blue and white, and also contemplate its panoramic views. Lodging and dinner.

    Day 2: Chaouen – Roman ruins – Meknes- Fes

    Departure to Fes, where we will border the Rif forest until we reach the Roman ruins of the city of Volubilis. Visit the ruins with local guide “optional” and then continue to Meknes, a city that reached its apogee thanks to the Sultan Mulay Ismail. Visit its mausoleum and the famous Bab Mansour gate.
    After the visit we will go to our destination, Fes. Arrival in Fes and free time. Lodging and dinner.

    Day 3: Fes-Fes

    At the end of breakfast, guided tour of the city. Full day dedicated to the discovery of the intellectual city of the kingdom.     Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Monkey forest – Erfoud – Merzouga desert

    After breakfast, we will continue our 10 days tour in Morocco from Tangier and leave Fes towards the Middle Atlas, to visit Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Africa. Then we will pass through Azrou “the rock”, Berber village known for its handicrafts, carpets and wood carvings, continuing to Midelt. The route continues through the Tizi Talghemt or Camel’s Neck, 1,907 meters high). The relief is impressive, the mountains are completely bare, covered with a purple coat. We pass through Errachidia and the palm grove of Erfoud. We arrive in Merzouga and enter the desert to sleep in the middle of the dunes in comfortable tents with hot water and private bathroom, where you can taste a typical Berber meal, listen to typical live music and delight under the starry sky and the silence of the Sahara night.

    Day 5: Desert – Nomadic visit – Black village – Erg Chebbi Desert

    You can wake up early to see the sunrise. After breakfast, we will leave to visit Khamlia, the so-called “black” village, so called because its inhabitants are descendants of the old slave trade coming from Sudan. They are excellent musicians and have made this art their way of life. With them we will enjoy a small concert of gnawa music. Then we will make a tour of the tracks used in the “Paris-Dakar Rally”, visiting the mines of Khol and the remains of a French and Berber village. We will make a panoramic stop to contemplate the sand desert that comprises the Erg Chebbi as a whole.
    We will visit some desert nomads in the process of sedentarism with whom we can take tea and learn more about their way of life. Free afternoon. Lodging and dinner.

    Day 6: Merzouga Dunes- Rissani- Todra Gorges- Dades Valley- Ouarzazate

    Today, we will depart to Rissani, known for one of the most authentic markets in southern Morocco and little frequented by tourists, where clothes, fruits, meats, vegetables, handicrafts, spices, fabrics and countless other items are sold. From there, we will go to the Todra Gorges, famous for its towering slopes, visited by climbers from all over the world. We visit the gorges and continue our tour to the Dades Valley and then connect with the Valley of Roses and the Valley of the Thousand Kasbahs. We will discover the kasbahs, large and very old mud constructions in the middle of this valley. We will continue our journey to Ouarzazate, also called the Hollywood of Morocco. Dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate.

    Day 7: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou-Marrakech

    After breakfast, we will visit the kasbah of Taourirt and after 25 km of road we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, famous for being the scene of super film productions such as Gladiator, “Lawrence of Arabia”, “The Sheltering Sky” or “Babel”. We will continue our journey through the port of Tichka that will lead us back to the “Red City”: Marrakech. Free afternoon. Dinner and overnight.

    Day 8: Marrakech- Marrakech

    After breakfast, we will take a guided tour of the city. Numerous are the monuments that you can visit: Ben Youssef Madrasa, Bahia Palace, Yamaa el Fna Square, Saadian Tombs, souks and the Koutoubia Mosque. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight.

    Day 9: Marrakech-Essaouira

    On this day of our 10 days tour in Morocco from Tangier, we will start our journey to the Atlantic coast, heading to Essaouira, the ancient Mogador. On the way we will cross immense Argan forests, where the precious Argan oil is extracted and we will be able to see its elaboration in one of the existing cooperatives. This town was an ancient Portuguese citadel and behind its walls, there are many picturesque corners full of history, which you can discover only upon arrival.
