You will be met by your driver / guide at Mohamed V airport in Casablanca to transfer you to your accommodation in Casablanca. Overnight at the hotel.
At 8: OO in the morning, you will be picked up from your accommodation and start your trip with a visit to the largest mosque in Casablanca, the Hassan II mosque. We will also have a view of other places of interest in the city. Transfer to the capital of Morocco “Rabat”, where we will visit Bad Challah, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and one of the main gates of the royal palace and the Oudaya kasbah. Lunch in a local restaurant. Then, we will head directly to the blue city of Chefchaouen. Of course, on the way you will pass through many small villages and stop for breaks. In Chefchaouen there will be time to walk inside the blue alleys of the medina and take pictures and enjoy the local food of the small town. Dinner and overnight.
In the morning, at 9 am, after breakfast, we will leave for Fez. Before arriving in Fez we will visit the historical site of Volubilis. After a tour with the local guide, we will continue to Meknes for a sightseeing tour. First, we will start by the beautiful Bad Mansour gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, Sahrij, the Jewish quarter. Lunch at a local restaurant inside the old medina of Fez. After lunch, afternoon at leisure in Fez. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you will start exploring the oldest city of Morocco, walking through its narrow streets and small lanes. Our tour starts at the gate of the Royal Palace, the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah built in Morocco during the 14th century. We will make sure you visit all sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, considered the oldest in the world, the tanneries and the Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant, you will visit the tile cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fez. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we will head towards the Middle Atlas through Ifran the “Moroccan Switzerland” and Azrou. We will make a stop in the cedar forest to visit the Cedre Goraud tree, where you will see Barbary monkeys in the wild. From here, we will head south passing through several towns and you will have the opportunity to see the nomads living in tents along the way. You will also see the volcanic rocks. Our next stop is in Midelt, where you will enjoy your lunch. Later, we continue our journey crossing the Tizi N’Talghomt pass (1907m) while enjoying the panoramic views.
We will also cross the Ziz gorge and the tunnel. Near Errachidia, you will see the Hassan Al-Dakhil dam, with its turquoise blue waters. This dam supplies water to the entire province of Errachidia. We will continue our journey to Erfoud, where we will stop for a panoramic view of Aoufous palmeraie along the Ziz River. We will continue to Merzouga through Erfoud and the oasis of Tafilalet, the largest palm grove in Morocco. Arrival in Merzouga in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will start a trip to explore the area; You will visit the nomads in their goat tent and learn about life in the desert; then you will visit the Gnaoua people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, here you will have the opportunity to listen to their music and learn about their culture and lifestyle. Depending on the time of the year you visit, you can visit the lake of Merzouga and its bird population, such as the “flamingos”.
In the afternoon, we will take you to the desert camp, to explore inside the mysterious sand sea of Erg-Chebbi. You will enjoy the beauty of the Sahara desert and the sunset over the golden dunes. After sunset, you will enjoy your dinner in front of the camp where you will spend your first night under the stars. The camp has individual tents with bathroom and hot water. Be sure to contemplate the starry sky in the immensity and silence of the desert.
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dunes in the Sahara desert, then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, we will return to the car to leave for Tineghir passing through Erfoud and Tinejdad. We will have a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to the Todra Gorges via Tineghir. Stopping on the way to take pictures and admire the views. Arrival at the Todra Gorges to enjoy the wonderful views of the Gorges while walking on foot, and finally arrive at the Dades Valley, where we will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive through the Dades valley to Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The route through the Dades Valley, the road of a thousand Kasbahs, offers numerous photo opportunities. We will visit the valley of Roses and the village of Skoura, then continue to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”. Lunch is at the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. After touring this UNESCO World Heritage site, our journey will continue through the majestic Tizi nTichka Pass, reaching an altitude of 2260 m, over the High Atlas Mountains. We will stop to enjoy the breathtaking views and visit the argan oil cooperative. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you can start exploring Marrakech “the red city of Morocco”. Your guide will make sure you visit the most important places of historical and cultural interest, including the Saadian tombs, the palaces of El Bahia and El Badi; the Ben Youssef Coranique school. Lunch in a restaurant near the square, then in the afternoon, visit the Majorelle gardens, Menara and the Koutoubia tower. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we will leave Marrakech “the red city” to Essaouira, the old Portuguese city. You can visit an Argan factory run by women and learn about the process of making Argan oil. You will explore the port of the coastal resort town of Essaouira. Enjoy a lunch of fresh seafood in the medina. The afternoon is free for a personal exploration; You can swim and relax on the beach. Dinner and overnight.
We will spend the morning shopping or relaxing in Essaouira and then depart mid-afternoon for Casablanca, where the tour ends.
